- How hot is too hot to walk my dog? There is no single safe number. Test the ground, walk at dawn or late evening, and keep it short.
- How often should I feed my puppy? Four meals a day to 3 months, three to 6 months, two to a year. Why set meals beat a full bowl.
- How do I potty train a puppy in a flat? Pick one toilet spot, go there after sleep, meals and play, reward every success and never punish.
- Is AC good for dogs? Can my dog sleep in AC? Yes: in Indian heat, AC can protect a dog. How to avoid a room that is too cold, and plan for power cuts.
- How do I keep my dog cool when the power goes off in summer? The coolest room, wet floors and moving air, water, no walks, and the heatstroke signs to act on.
- Can I leave my dog with my maid or domestic help? It can work for short trips if they like dogs and you leave a written plan. Where it usually falls short.
- When can my puppy go outside after vaccination? Street walks after the final puppy vaccine has had time to work. Safe ways to socialise before then.
- Why does my puppy bite so much? Mouthing is how puppies play and explore, and teething makes it worse. How to teach a soft mouth.
