If you are a pet sitter
- Call the owner first, then call the clinic on the way so the team is ready.
- Carry the pet’s vaccination record and the owner’s care sheet with its medicines and the owner’s own vet.
- Bring a short note from the owner saying you may take the pet to a vet and how the bill will be settled.
- Keep the pet calm and contained: a carrier for a cat, a short lead for a dog. Do not give food, water or any medicine unless the vet tells you to.
Owners: make a free pet care sheet so your sitter has all of this on one page.
