If you are a pet sitter

  1. Call the owner first, then call the clinic on the way so the team is ready.
  2. Carry the pet’s vaccination record and the owner’s care sheet with its medicines and the owner’s own vet.
  3. Bring a short note from the owner saying you may take the pet to a vet and how the bill will be settled.
  4. Keep the pet calm and contained: a carrier for a cat, a short lead for a dog. Do not give food, water or any medicine unless the vet tells you to.

Owners: make a free pet care sheet so your sitter has all of this on one page.
